With safe and effective food storage you are able to prepare liquids such as soups and sauces in bulk, saving you valuable time and money. Pac Food Cook Chill Bags are an effective way to quickly and safely chill hot fills of liquids up to 95°C. Cook Chill Bags can be quickly sealed, chilled and then stored at 0-2°C to ensure your product is safe from bacteria and other food spoiling influences.
Our Cook Chill Bags are very strong, high gauge bags which can be sealed quickly with our special alloy clip. This process minimises oxygen entering your product thereby ensuring a product shelf life of up to 6 weeks! Our double bottom super strong seals ensure your liquids never “fall through” the bags. We dry blow our bags in the production line, so that they are easy opening for the operators.

Tips to get the most out of your Cook Chill Bag
Time is critical to ensure a longer shelf life when filling casings. To retain flavour and to acquire a 6 week shelf life, a minimum temperature of 66°C must be maintained during the filling operation. Products should be chilled from 66°C to 21°C within 2 hours. Temperature should descend from 21°C to 5°C within 4 hours. Ideal storage temperature is -2°C to 0°C
It is critical that no more than the specific capacity is packaged into each casing. A tightly packed casing requires a longer chill cycle than a loosely packed casing. Quicker cooling means longer shelf life.
